This thesis studied about the Malalas effort needed to fight for education inI Am Malalanovel.The objectives of this research are to describe the Malala’s personality and the efforts of Malala Yousafzai. The researcher uses one kind of instrument, it is the researcher herself. The researcher becomes the data collector, reader, interpretation and analyzer of this research finding. The primary data source is the novel itself. The theory of personality, Sigmund Freud, is used to find out the personality of the main character, Malala. The theory of effort, Paul G. Stoltz, is used to find out effort of Malala. After analyzing the data, the researcher finds that Malalas personality in I Am Malala noveldivided into five kinds; brave, creative, empathy, strong and idealistic. While the efforts of Malala I Am Malalanovel divided into five events; when she went to Geo, when she interviewed on ATV Khyber, when Malala went to BBC Urdu Talk Show, Malala write diary for BBC radio, and when Malala in conversation with documentary makers.
