Online test is one of the tools for assessment which is currently being used by many educational institutions. The purpose of this research was to determine students perceptions of IAIN Kediri on the use of online tests, to find out the problems faced by students against using online tests and find out how students solve these problems. The participant of this study are students of IAIN Kediri from several program faculty. Those are Pendidikan Agama Islam, Tadris Bahasa Inggris, Tadris Bahasa Arab, Komunikasi Penyiaran Islam, Ilmu Al-qur’an dan Tafsir, Ilmu Tasawuf, Psikologi, Tadris Matematika , dan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. There are 125 students of IAIN Kediri being participant in this research. This quantitative research was done by questionnaire and interview in collecting the data. The result of the analysis showed that the use online test got positive responses. Most participants revealed that the use of online test is efficient. On the other hand, There are respondents that assume online test is not te same quality with paper based test in the implementation of test.
