This research aimed to find out the eighth grade students’ perception on the use of YouTube in learning English at Junior High School. It was a descriptive research. The data were taken by questionnaire and interview, then analysed by qualitative approach. The questionnaire was administered to 63 students of eighth grade students and the interview was distributed to 5 students of the eighth grade students of MTsN 3 Nganjuk. The researcher collected the data by online due to the prohibition of traveling for people in response to Covid-19’s outbreak in Indonesia.The result of this research showed that students’ perception on the use of YouTube in learning English most of the students gave positive response to each statement in each aspect of the questionnaire and interview given. Based on the research result obtained, this study can be concluded that the use of YouTube in learning English is attractive, effective, can be relevant to the students’ need and their ability to mastering English language, and could also motivate students to learn English in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
