The spread of Covid-19 make the learning system from face to face learning move to the online learning. However in this study researcher want to find out what are the applications that students use and the students’ perception about the applications use in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The research used descriptive quantitative research method, which is appropriate as the design of this research related with the instrument that used were close-ended questionnaire that collected via Google form. The subject were thirty six of fourth-semester students of English Education Department in IAIN Kediri. The researcher use Pearson Product Moment in SPSS to test the validity and Chronbach Alpha in SPSS to test the validity. The researcher analyzed the data by using formula based on Nazir (2005). The findings indicate that students have positive perception about applications used in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Based on the result, it shows that there are some applications that they use such as WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google Meet, Telegram, zoom, socrative, YouTube. The applications used in online learning were efficient, because it is easy to operate, interesting and easy to access. The researcher suggest to the students to have discipline in online learning. For the further researcher, it is recommended to explore more about students’ perception in the use of modern technology.
