E-learning IAIN Kediri is one of the online learning platforms that used by students in IAIN Kediri including English Department students during Covid-19 Pandemic. Almost all of the courses can be accessed through E-learning IAIN Kediri including Academic Reading. The aims of this study are: (1) to identify and describe the perception of English Department students’ toward the use of Elearning IAIN Kediri in Academic Reading Class, (2) to identify the students’ challenges in using E-learning IAIN Kediri in Academic Reading Class. This study is quantitative research with a survey design using questionnaire and interview as instrument to collect the data. The researcher analyzed the data by counting the percentage and the mean of students’ answer in each part of the questionnaire. This study involved 80 of English Department students in IAIN Kediri who had used E-Learning IAIN Kediri in Academic Reading class. The result of the study showed that students’ gave positive perception toward the use of E-learning IAIN Kediri as learning platform in Academic Reading class. Most participant said that E-learning is effective to use as learning platform during the pandemic because it is very simple and easy to access everywhere and every time. The challenges that faced by students are: (1) the server is frequently going down, (2) students often had bad internet connection, (3) ineffectiveness when reading through E-learning (the difficulty in understanding the material students need time to adapt, (4) students’ uncomfortable feeling (they can not understand the material well and the server is often down), and (5) students can not improve their reading skill optimally. Although they have some challenges in using E-learning, most of the students said that they enjoy learning Reading through E-learning IAIN Kediri.
