Psychological is the scientific study of mental processes and behavior. This researcher analyses about Physiological analysis on the main character’s personality in novel “not time for good bye. This study focuses on the main character’s personality in the novel.The data, the research used based on Abraham Maslows theory. The purpose of study are 1) to know what is the main character’s personality portrayed in this novel, 2) to know what is the main character’s personality viewed from Abraham Maslow’s theory of motivation. The research used descriptive qualitative method. The data source uses novel “not time for good bye” to be analyzed as the data of the research. And to collect the data, the researcher reads all the novel,understands the contain,chooses and selects the data,clarifies the data based on the problem,evaluate the data.The main instrument is the researcher himself. Furthermore the data analysis is the first tries to review the data that has been collected,second clarifies the data, third analyze the data of the main character’s based on Abraham Maslow theory and draws conclusion. The result of the research shows that there are three characters personality,such as sensitive,unrealistic and pessimistic.there are fifteen main character’s personality based on Abraham Maslow. The research contains self actualization, esteem needs, belonging needs, safety needs, physiological needs.
