This study aims to determine the correlation between students’ interest in learning English and students’ English reading Achievement, at the VIII grade students of MTs Negeri 7 Kediri. The objective of this study were: To determine whether is there any correlation between students’ interest in learning English and students’ English reading Achievement. The analytical method used in this research was quantitative research method. Data was collected using two kinds of instruments, namely a questionnaire for the students’ interest in learning English and a reading test to make an assessment for the students’ English reading achievement. The findings are obtained using Pearson Product Moments formula. if the significance value (sig) is less than 0.05 it means there is a correlation between the two variables. the results of the significant value found from this research shows 0.00 it means there is correlation between the two variables. that Ha calculated with a significance value of 5% or r-table (0.178) is smaller than r-count which is in this research 0.588, so Ha accepted. Which means, there is a correlation between students’ interest in learning English and students’ English reading Achievement. Based on this research, it is concluded that the higher of the student’ interest in learning English, the better their reading achievement they got. It means that there is correlation between students’ interest in learning English and students’ English reading Achievement at MTs Negeri 7 Kediri.
