Critical discourse analysis is a form of analysis that is carried out to find the relationship, influence, production of the text in the discourse. A critical discourse analysis by Teun Van Dijk is divided into three elements, namely social cognition, social context and textual analysis. The purpose of critical discourse analysis by Teun Van Dijk in this study is analyzing textual analysis in Kim Nam Juns speech. Textual analysis is analyzing text to analyze the superstructure, macrostructure and microstructure. In this study, the researcher uses descriptive qualitative critical discourse analysis design to describe the data which is analyzed. It is appropriate with the study that using the theory, that is theory by Teun Van Dijk. The data is analyzed based on the framework of textual analysis. The framework of textual analysis in this study such as, superstructure explains about schema, macrostructure explains about thematic, and the last is microstructure explain about semantic, syntactic, stylistic and rhetoric. The results of analysis in this study indicate that the superstructure and macrostructure components in the speech are arranged sequentially, politely, clearly and interestingly. In superstructure analysis there is opening, content and closing that are started with an introduction in each elements. Then, for the macrostructure analysis is about theme which is in this study the theme is about Kim Nam Juns life. While the microstructure analysis shows that the language that Kim Nam Jun uses in speech is beautiful. It is because the selection of lexicon elements and its conspicuousness in rhetoric elements.
