Keywords: Memorizing Vocabulary, Post-It, Sticky Notes. English lessons are one of the important things for students at the high school level, especially at SMAN 1 MOJO. Because it is an international language, it is a requirement to enter college, and enter any work environment. Therefore, English language skills need to be improved optimally. Through English lessons, it is hoped that SMAN 1 MOJO students will be motivated to compete in the world of education and prepare themselves to face the era of globalization and also the era of digitalization. Memorizing vocabulary is a skill that people always use in their daily activities, especially in learning a language. starting with simple everyday vocabulary and formed into sentences and then processed the meaning. memorizing vocabulary is important for communication to obtain information. In teaching vocabulary memorization skills, this study uses post-it media, namely a written medium in a sticky note and then pasted on paper. The question in this study is "Is there a significant difference in students reading ability between students who are taught using post-it media and students who are taught using the cloze procedure?". Furthermore, to answer the research question, the purpose of this study was to find out the significant difference in students vocabulary memorization skills between students who were taught using post-it media and students who were taught using the cloze procedure. The researcher used a quasi-experimental research design. The researcher took the population of class X SMAN 1 Mojo students and the samples came from two classes, namely class X IPS 4 which consisted of 36 students as the experimental group and class IPS 5 which consisted of 34 students as the control group. The experimental group was taught to memorize vocabulary using post-it media and the control group was taught using the cloze procedure. Pre-test and post-test were applied to the experimental and control groups to collect data. The results of the analysis of hypothesis testing indicate that the significant value of hypothesis testing is 0.002 which is lower than 0.05 (0.002 <0.05). This means that the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. There is a significant difference in the students vocabulary memorization ability. Between students who were taught using Sticky Notes and students who were taught using the Cloze Procedure, and with the data we can conclude that Sticky Notes is effective for teaching vocabulary memorization skills.
