So, by having good speaking skills, the students can communicate well each other. Not only that, by speaking we can find out everything that is happening in the world of education and outside the world of education. In order for students to have the ability to communicate well, speaking learning strategies are needed in the classroom. Not only that, teachers strategies is need especially in teaching speaking because teacher strategies will help students speaking mastery. Besides that, the researcher is interesting to analyzed the strategies used by English teachers in teaching speaking at MTsN 7 Kediri. Therefore, the research aims to find out strategies that used by the teachers in teaching speaking and to know how the teachers’ implement their strategies in teaching speaking.
