The topic of this research is writing skill of descriptive text of MTs Al-Muttaqien, Plemahan. Teacher as component of teaching learning activity needs some ways to make the students interested and involved in writing teaching learning activity. One of theme is using Picture cards. The problem of study is “How can the Picture Cards increase the students’ achievement of writing descriptive at First Graders of MTs Al Muttaqien, Plemahan”. This research is conducted in MTs Al Muttaqien, plemahan. During the process of research, there are some methods that are used to gain data like observation, interview. The research focuses on the Improving students’ writing skill through picture cards for first graders of mts Al Muttaqien, Plemahan. The classes that are chosen are VIIA. This method conduct 2 cycle, and every cycle 3 meeting. The result of the research shows that most students have to achieve picture card of writing descriptive text. The activities in this research are planning, acting, and observing and reflecting.
