In the world of education, there are many ways to convey education itself. One way that can be used is to look at literary works. Animation movie are one of the literary works that can be used to convey education. Animation movie is one type of visual communication. It shows pictures that tell a story in a movie theater or on television. Moana movie is an interesting animation movie that also has educational value. In this movie there are several educational values that can be taken to be applied in the world of education. through this search, language learning becomes more fun because movie are not only an interesting learning medium but can also introduce the community to educational values. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the educational values contained in the Moana movie. The research design in this research is descriptive qualitative research to describe the educational value that includes in Moana movie. The researcher was the used library research to completed the research. The researcher has taken the data from Moana Movie and the dialogue transcript of Moana movie. The main instrument of this research is the researcher herself with the knowledge of educational values. Then, the data collection is the documentation technique. The researcher uses El Mubarok theory to analyze the educational value in the movie. After analyzing the Moana movie, this study found eight divisions of educational values. With a total of 25 types of educational values. With the following description: Honesty, brave, confidence and potential, purity include on the value of being. Also loyalty, respect, love and affection, kind and friendly include on the value of giving. So, The educational value that found in this movie are honesty that showed 2 times, brave that showed 4 times, confidence and potential that showed 6 times, purity that showed 2 times, loyalty that showed 1 times, respect that showed 4 times, love and affection that showed 3 times, kind and friendly that showed 3 times. These values are conveyed through scenes and characters who play a role in the Moana movie. Furthermore, this research has several functions in the field of education to improve students skills and language components.
