This research was conducted to describe the teachers implementation in motivating young learners in learning English. This research will also describe the problems faced by teachers while motivating and how to overcome these. The researcher chose this school because MIN 9 Nganjuk is one of the elementary schools that still apply English in their schools. The researcher interviewed the English teacher and observed the teacher while teaching. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research design because the researcher wants to describe the implementation of the teacher in motivating students, the problems faced by the teacher, and how to overcome the problems faced by the teacher. The instruments used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research showed that the teachers implementation strategy in motivating students are divided into 7 categories, namely tell a brief words, give rewards, create a competition, provide explanation and awareness to students about the importance of the task, give questions at each meeting as a substitute for daily test, showed the results of the scores obtained by students, and give punishment to students who do not do the assignment. While the problems faced by teachers are students feel tired, students are noisy when taught, class management, and pronunciation teacher are sometimes still confused. The way the teacher solves the problem are the teacher is more discipline with students, the teacher teach only using LKS books, the teacher asked friends between English teachers at other schools how to pronounce it correctly, and sing.
