This thesis report on the study about the strategies of teaching English to Kindergarten students at Al Azhar Bilingual Al Quran Kindergarten, Kediri. Al Azhar Bilingual All Quran Kindergarten is a superior school in this area that has accreditation above other schools, the researcher wants to know the challenge faced by teachers and the strategie used by teachers in teaching English. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research design to answer the research question. Interview guides, observation guides, English learning recordings and documentation became the instruments in this study. The research participants were teachers and students. The detailed object of this research is one class containing 16 students and 3 teachers consisting of the headmaster of kindergarten, homeroom teacher, supporting teacher. The results of this study include teaching and learning processes and supporting factors. Kindergarten students have a more difficult way of teaching because children have different understanding from teenagers, learning English in kindergarten students has challenges: pronunciation, students easily get bored with the material, learning orientation, students understanding, knowing the talents of students. The role of the teacher in kindergarten english is to lead students to master skills in english and strategies that can solve the challenge are direct and firm communication in teaching English (especially vocabulary), the teacher must update about content that is interesting for children, the teacher knows the difference between teaching children and adults, the teacher adds communication about the material with students, teachers make observations and facilitate student talents.
