The research design in this research is qualitative descriptive, which the results of this research are presented in the simple table with the explanation. The data collection is using in the form of online questionnaire and interview, and the validation of the instrument is using expert judgment. The research subject is 101 students of the IAIN Kediri in 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th semester of the 2022/2023 academic year as the respondents to fulfill the questionnaire. 6 students became the respondents for the interview. The findings of the interviews with six students showed that they are all have been watching English movie with Indonesian subtitle. Indonesian subtitle of English movie is easy to find on the internet. Indonesian subtitle can help students to understand the whole content of the movie. Besides that, Indonesian subtitle also can help the students to practice their reading and find many more new vocabularies.
