There were 180 students of EFL learners as the participants. There were three instruments utilized to collect the data. The first was reading habits questionnaire that adapted from Goana Gonzales. The second was critical thinking questionnaire that adapted from Peter Facione. The last was a test to obtain the score of students’ comprehension. The results indicate a strong positive correlation between reading habits and reading comprehension, with a Pearson correlation value of 0.670, as well as a very strong correlation between critical thinking and reading comprehension, with a Pearson correlation value of 0.847. Additionally, there is a moderate correlation between reading habits and critical thinking, with a Pearson correlation value of 0.597. Combined analysis shows that reading habits and critical thinking together significantly influence students reading comprehension by 75.9% (R Square value = 0.759).
