In collecting data, the researcher used questionnaire and English achievement test as the instruments. the analysis used in this research is Pearson Product Moment analysis.. Finally, the result shows that there is correlation between students’ past learning experiences and their English achievement. It is because Sig. (2-Tailed) is 0,036 < Sig (0,05). It can be inferred that H0 can be rejected and Ha is accepted. So there is correlation between students’ past learning experiences and their English achievement. Based on coefficient correlation standard (Robert H. Koenker) ,the researcher concludes that there is low relationship between students’ past learning experiences and their English achievement.
