Keywords : Teachers Perceptions, Learning Media, Social Media In the digital era after the pandemic ends, the world of education has used social media as a learning medium which is considered more effective for implementation. This adapts to the daily lives of both students and teachers who are very familiar with social media as well as its features. Based on this, teachers choose social media as a learning medium because it is considered that it can really help students in learning English. The aim of this research is to find out how teachers perceive the use of social media in learning. Apart from that, it is also to find out what challenges teachers face, what types of social media are still being used, and what social media are most effectively used as learning media in English classes. In this study, the researcher took several English teachers at MTsN 5 Nganjuk which is located at Jl. Wolter Monginsidi No. 54, Payaman, Nganjuk Regency. The subjects of this study were 6 English teachers at MTsN 5 Nganjuk. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data from the questionnaire are presented in tables and diagrams in the form of frequencies and percentages. While the data from interviews were analyzed using flow models. Thus the model has several components such as data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research state that based on the perceptions of English teachers regarding the use of social media as a learning medium, it is very effective to implement. The use of social media can improve students English skills and make it easier for teachers to convey learning
