Movie is the one of literary work besides novel poetry and poem. By learning the movie, the readers and researcher can learn about the character, language and knowledge which are influenced language. In this study, the researcher analyzes the teaching ways and Helen’s attitude change before and after having the treatment from Annie in the Miracle Worker movie written by Nadia Tass. This thesis focuses on the teaching way of Annie Sullivan to teach Helen as a child with special need and Helen’s attitude change after having taught by Annie toward movie in The Miracle worker. In writing this thesis, the writer uses descriptive qualitative which is related to the problem. The object that writer uses, in this movie is The Miracle worker written by Nadia Tass. The writer also uses data collection to get detail information of object that writer analysis. The researcher analyzes the movie that have describe related to study. It tries to get conclusion that related to problem. It is to describe the teaching ways and attitude change of main character in the movie. In The Miracle worker written by Nadia Tass, Annie Sullivan’s teaching way to teach Helen is there are tree grade that are direct instruction and drill and practice. In her teaching Annie try to make Helen’s attitude changes from the bad attitude become better with some ways. Annie succeeds in her quest to educate Helen as a disabled child. In particular the change of Helen attitute from that child naughty, hyperactive and peevish children to be children who obey the role, caring children and smart children.
