This research tries to erase the assumption that the literary work is not only an entertain art, but also can be the medium to educate. The new era has been shown that the education should be creative. The references to be creative media to educate can come from novel as a literary works. One of novel that to be consideration is novel The Land of Five Towers from Ahmad Fuadi translated by Angie Kilbane. It is an education novel genre that has many education values in the story. The education values refer to the values of character education in an environment of Islamic boarding house or in this novel called as Madani Pesantren that has new innovation to learn about the values of character education. In the novel is also has an attitude change to the characters because they always use those values continually. The researcher uses qualitative as research design to discuss the novel. The objective of this research discusses novel The Land of Five Towers as the primary data source. The researcher uses narration, utterances, and dialogues in the novel. The instrument of this study is the researcher himself. The researcher becomes data collector and interpreter. The researcher uses triangulation to complete the data with the other data. It will be used to discuss the problem of this thesis which title "The Values of Character Education Found in Ahmad Fuadis The Land of Five Towers". The primary data source comes from novel The Land of Five Towers itself. The secondary data source comes from books, journal and article that related to this novel. The results of this research indicate: (1) the values of character education in novel The Land of five towers that take place in Madani Pesantren has 14 points of character education values, those are: hard work, religious, discipline, independent, creative, loving homeland, friendliness, loving peace, the spirit of nationality, tolerance, social care, pleasure for reading, responsible, and honest. (2) The attitude change values that can be found from novel The Land of Five Towers by the character has 8 points. They are: attitude change to be hard worker, creative, friendliness, religious, discipline, tolerance, pleasure for reading, and responsible.
