Father’s Prototype to Build Children’s ESQ Thematic Interpretation Study, Al-Quran and Tafsir Science, Ushuluddin and Dakwah, IAIN Kediri, 2025. Keywords: Father Prototype, ESQ. This study aims to examine the fathers prototype in shaping childrens emotional and spiritual intelligence (ESQ) based on the study of thematic interpretation of the Quran. This approach emphasizes the importance of the father figure as the main role model that shapes childrens character, especially in spiritual and emotional aspects. The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive method with thematic analysis of relevant Quranic verses. The results show that the fathers role as a prototype in childrens ESQ education includes exemplary faith, compassion, self-control, and wisdom. In addition, fathers who are emotionally and spiritually present have a significant impact on childrens ESQ development. This finding reinforces the urgency of Quran-based father education to form a generation that is emotionally and spiritually intelligent. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of fathers in an Islamic perspective and provides a basis for more effective family education.
